Alumni Section
The Texas Rugby Alumni Association (TRAA) was founded to assist the development of Rugby at The University of Texas at Austin. With over 20 years of University of Texas Rugby history, the 1000+ members of the Texas Rugby Alumni Association are committed to promoting sportsmanship and the continued success of the University of Texas Rugby Football Club. TRAA is responsible for maintaining the long-term legacy of the program by improving the visibility of the UT Rugby Football Club in the eyes of the University of Texas administration and the community at large.
The alumni network will continue to support the Texas Rugby Community by achieving the following goals:
- Provide support to maintain positive relationship between the University and the UT Rugby Club.
- Provide financial support through awareness of donation avenues, fund raising activities and the maximizing sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop long-term endowment fund.
- Organize annual alumni events.
Through our relationship with the Texas Exes we have established a tax-deductible account to promote the spirit and high ideals of the Texas Rugby Sports Organization.
